Meet the Photographer
Hi, I'm Samantha, the one behind Glacier Rose Photography.
Jesus is my rock and Savior, and the foundation of everything I do. His faithfulness has shaped every part of my life, and I'm grateful for the opportunity to use photography to serve others and tell their stories.
I've been married to my best friend for 22 years, and together we've raised three incredible young adult sons. I've officially graduated from the boy-mom years, which mostly means I survived the constant noise, empty refrigerators, and became far too familiar with that smell.
When I'm not behind the camera, my full-time job is in Student Ministries at my church. It's one of the most rewarding, exhausting, hilarious, and joy-filled callings I could ask for. Teenagers have a way of keeping you humble, making you laugh, and reminding you that every day is an adventure.
Photography has been part of my life for as long as I can remember, whether it's been looking at photos, sorting them or being behind the camera. You'll often find me chasing mountain views, standing on the sidelines of a football game or celebrating a senior's biggest milestone. No matter what's in front of my lens, I'm always looking for the genuine moments, the laughter that can't be forced, the quick glance, the proud smile, or the split second when everyone forgets the camera is there.
If you're in front of my camera, expect a few slightly awkward poses and instructions, some "do that again but funnier, with more laughter," and maybe a little encouragement to move like no one is watching (even though I definitely am).
My goal is simple: to create timeless, authentic images that tell your story and preserve the moments you'll treasure for years to come.
